Everything you need to know about how QROMO works.

No. Scanning a QR code is completely free. Brands place QR codes on products, packaging, or at events — but purchasing those products is never a condition of participation. Anyone with the QROMO app can scan and earn rewards.

Each campaign's distribution rules are set by the brand and disclosed before you scan. Campaign types include: Guaranteed (every scan receives a fixed reward), Shared pool (the prize pool is divided among all participants), First-come, first-served (until the pool runs out), and Jackpot (a small number of participants win a larger prize, selected by on-chain randomness). The type and any odds are always shown upfront.

No. Gambling requires that you pay something of value to enter. QROMO campaigns are free to participate in — no purchase, payment, or subscription is required. QROMO operates as engagement marketing infrastructure, not as a gambling or lottery platform. Our Terms of Service cover this in detail.

You do. QROMO generates a non-custodial Solana wallet on your device. Your private key is created and stored on your phone — QROMO never has access to it. An encrypted backup is stored on our servers, but it can only be decrypted with your phone number and is inaccessible to us. Your rewards are sent directly to your wallet on-chain the moment they are distributed.

QROMO is currently available in most countries where cryptocurrency use is permitted. Users must be 18 or older and legally allowed to hold cryptocurrency in their jurisdiction. See our Terms of Service for eligibility details. Brand campaigns may be geo-restricted by the brand running them.

Open the QROMO app, go to the Wallet tab, and tap "To Crypto Address" to send your SOL to any external Solana wallet, or "To Bank Account" to convert to fiat via our partner provider. Withdrawals are subject to network fees and minimum thresholds shown in the app.

QROMO currently distributes rewards in SOL (Solana) and, for some brand campaigns, USDC stablecoin. Your wallet is a standard Solana wallet compatible with any Solana-supporting app such as Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack. Fiat withdrawals are also available via our bank transfer partner.
