Brand funds a campaign

Your brand defines a reward amount per scan and a total campaign budget. QROMO's treasury holds digital rewards ready for instant distribution. You pay for actual engagement, not impressions, not clicks, not potential reach.

QROMO generates your QR code

You receive a unique QR code tied to your campaign. Place it on product packaging, shelf displays, receipts, event screens, or anywhere your audience will see it. No technical integration required on your side.

Consumer scans with the QROMO app

A consumer opens the QROMO app, free to download and no purchase required, points their camera at the QR code, and scans. The app instantly verifies the campaign and confirms eligibility. The entire interaction takes under five seconds.

Rewards are sent directly to the consumer's wallet

QROMO's treasury sends the reward amount directly to that consumer's personal, non-custodial wallet. The transfer is instant and verifiable. There is no delay, no point-collection period, and no minimum threshold to withdraw.

Consumer converts to local currency (optional)

If the consumer wishes, they can convert their reward to local currency and withdraw to their bank account directly from the QROMO app, via our regulated off-ramp partner. This step is entirely optional and the consumer's own decision.

What this means for your brand

QROMO is engagement infrastructure, not a financial product. Here is how that translates into practical terms for your brand.

No custodial liability

Your brand is not holding, managing, or controlling any consumer funds at any point. Rewards flow from QROMO's treasury directly to the consumer's self-owned wallet. Your brand's role is limited to funding the campaign budget with QROMO, equivalent to paying a marketing agency for a promotion.

Not a gambling product

QROMO campaigns require no purchase or payment to participate. Participation is free to any user with the app. Under EU and most international frameworks, this classification removes the product from gambling regulation. Our Terms of Service set this out explicitly, and QROMO OÜ is registered in Estonia (EU).

Full campaign transparency

Every reward transaction is permanently recorded and independently verifiable. Your brand can audit exactly how many rewards were distributed, when, and to which accounts, without relying on QROMO's reporting alone. This is a level of transparency that no traditional loyalty or cashback platform can match.

GDPR-aligned data handling

QROMO OÜ acts as the data controller for consumer personal data. Your brand receives aggregated campaign analytics (scan counts, timing, geographic distribution), not raw consumer PII. Our Privacy Policy is publicly available and GDPR-compliant under Estonian law.

No purchase required

This is a structural feature, not a policy choice. The QROMO app is free to download and free to use. Consumers do not spend money to scan your QR code. This is stated clearly in the consumer-facing Terms of Service and in every campaign flow.
