How to request deletion of your QROMO account and personal data

How to Request Account Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your QROMO account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to submit a deletion request:

Send a Deletion Request by Email

Email us from the phone number or any contact address associated with your account. Include "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.

Alternatively, follow these steps:

  • 1 Compose an email to contact@qromo.xyz
  • 2 Use the subject line: "Delete my account"
  • 3 Include your registered phone number (with country code) so we can locate your account
  • 4 We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days
Before you request deletion: make sure you have withdrawn any remaining SOL balance from your wallet. Once your account is deleted, your in-app wallet and its contents cannot be recovered.

What Data Is Deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days:

Withdrawal records Retained 7 years Required by EU financial regulations (AML/KYC)
On-chain Solana transactions Permanent on-chain Blockchain records are public and cannot be deleted — they contain no personal identifiers

Withdrawal transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable EU financial and anti-money-laundering regulations. These records do not contain your phone number after account deletion — only transaction amounts, timestamps, and wallet addresses.

What Happens After Deletion

  • You will be logged out of the app immediately upon deletion
  • Your phone number will be unlinked and can be used to create a new account in the future
  • Any SOL remaining in your in-app wallet at the time of deletion will be inaccessible — please withdraw before requesting deletion
  • Active campaign prizes already awarded but not yet withdrawn will be forfeited

Partial Data Deletion

If you want to delete specific data without closing your account (for example, clearing your scan history), you can request this by emailing contact@qromo.xyz and specifying which data you would like removed. We will assess your request in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As a user of a service operated by an EU-registered company (QROMO OÜ, Estonia), you have the right to:

  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data
  • Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@qromo.xyz. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
